Implants
Implants offer a permanent solution when it comes to replacing missing teeth. They dont rely on other existing teeth and so do not damage them like bridges sometimes can. With a good oral hygiene program implants can last for up to 30 years.
During a surgical procedure, a metal post is implanted into the jaw where the tooth or teeth are missing (1), synthetic teeth are then 'bolted' to the implant (2) and become a permanent fixture in the mouth. They feel the same, look the same and perform as well as - if not better than - real teeth (3).
